The Choir of Magdalen College, Oxford was founded in 1480. Magdalen College was one of the leading choral foundations in late-medieval England. This historic legacy has been preserved and maintained over five centuries. The Choir exists primarily to sing the daily services in Magdalen College Chapel during term time but they also sing at a number of special occasions throughout the year, including the famous May Day celebrations. Outside of their beautiful Chapel they can be heard in concert and on tour, and they enjoy an exclusive recording agreement with Opus Arte (the label of the Royal Opera House).
